About the Role

Fusion Optix is seeking a highly motivated and organized sales and customer support specialist to join our inside sales and support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to RFQs and customer support cases, and coordinating with internal teams to provide necessary product and shop drawings/submittals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to RFQs and customer support cases generated within the Salesforce CRM environment, covering quotes, orders, and information requests.
  • Accurately compile quotes based on customer accounts, including required product codes, quantity pricing, and validation of current lead times.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries either directly or coordinate with other team members to facilitate a timely response.
  • Enter orders into Salesforce CRM and support existing orders (provide status updates to customers, reps, agents, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to provide necessary product and shop drawings/submittals.
  • Reliable and responsive point of contact for our customers, sales agents, and channel partners.
  • Act as initial point of contact for any post-sales issues gathering information before escalating where appropriate (e.g. RMA requests, defective product, missed shipments, replacement orders, etc...).
Requirements
  • Relevant prior sales support and/or quotations experience.
  • Strong personal ethics, and professional and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within the Salesforce CRM environment, particularly cases and data entry.
  • Strong numerical abilities, and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
  • Good personal demeanor, telephone manners, and precise communication abilities.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a "do whatever it takes to get the job done" attitude.
  • Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude toward customers and stakeholders at all times.
  • Technically minded enough to understand the basics of Fusion Optix lighting products.
