As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our team by viewing change as a chance to grow and enhance our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business to compile and prepare monthly reconciliations, reports, and presentations.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and assist management with financial analysis as needed.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows.
- Execute month-end closing activities in a timely manner.
- Analyze monthly results and provide insights on variances compared to forecasts, budgets, and previous performance.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of budgets, forecasts, and actual results to aid management in decision-making.
- Assist in gathering and reconciling asset counts.
- Review business transactions to identify relevant accounting and reporting requirements.
- Prepare necessary planning and budgeting reports for corporate submission.
- Maintain positive interactions with the Corporate Finance Team.
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in accounting or business administration.
- Enrolled or interested in the CPA program.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with intermediate to advanced skills.
- Ability to handle large data sets and demonstrate critical thinking in analyses and presentations.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and expertise in financial analysis, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong ability to self-review.
- Adaptability to diverse deliverables and analytical tasks.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and engage in various projects and evolving reporting needs.
- Previous experience in the construction and manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
