Position Overview:
Coke Florida is seeking a Sales Account Executive (Publix) based in our Ocala location, responsible for a territory that spans various key accounts.
This role typically operates Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Account Executive, you will:
- Drive business growth by developing customer relationships and enhancing service delivery.
- Expand sales by introducing additional brands and product offerings to existing customers.
- Engage with strategic accounts, focusing on Publix stores.
Specific Duties Include:
- Processing sales and assisting with customer orders.
- Regularly visiting customer locations to perform primary duties in the field.
- Building and nurturing profitable customer relationships.
- Executing and finalizing all sales calls.
- Promoting incremental displays and equipment placements, ensuring compliance with promotional programs.
- Providing service during each visit, including light merchandising and maintaining beverage sections.
- Reviewing business performance with customers.
- Ensuring company assets meet performance standards and developing action plans for underperforming assets.
- Communicating account activities to relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting merchandising and inspection tasks.
- Leading and executing resets to enhance product portfolio.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving service tickets.
- Transporting and maintaining Point of Sale advertising as necessary.
- Maintaining punctual attendance and working overtime as required.
- Adhering to all company policies and applicable laws.
- Identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions.
- Complying with dress code and grooming standards.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or GED.
- To be at least 18 years of age.
- A minimum of 1 year of general work experience.
- Proficiency in using mobile applications.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license and current vehicle liability insurance.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
- A personal vehicle for use during work hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications that may enhance your success include:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college education.
- At least 1 year of prior sales experience.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent follow-up abilities.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Physical Requirements:
This role is physically demanding and requires:
- The ability to lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive pushing and pulling of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing and walking, with the ability to cover significant distances during the workday.
- Working in various environmental conditions, including hot and humid settings.
