Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Guide, mentor, and cultivate the Institutional Marketing team to meet both departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Encourage a culture of high performance centered on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee the professional growth and accountability of team members.

Strategic Marketing Initiatives:

  • Formulate and implement extensive marketing strategies at various levels to stimulate demand generation and enhance customer retention.
  • Produce compelling marketing content and campaigns specifically designed for the K-12 institutional audience.
  • Drive the creation and deployment of outreach tools and marketing materials that facilitate lead generation and revenue enhancement.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to refine and execute our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and campaigns.

Demand Generation & Performance Tracking:

  • Manage demand generation efforts and assess their success using CRM systems.
  • Implement strategies aimed at customer retention to maintain high engagement levels.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, ensuring optimization for maximum return on investment.

Market Expansion & Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the development of the Go-To-Market strategy for the Varsity Tutors for Schools initiative.
  • Utilize best practices in B2B marketing to enhance our outreach efforts.
  • Work closely with product teams to create effective messaging and promotional materials that communicate our value proposition in the K-12 sector.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:

  • Partner with sales teams to develop marketing assets that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Engage with various departments to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions and forecast future trends.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in B2B marketing leadership, with a proven track record of achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of building effective marketing teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing technologies and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
