Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist physicians in managing patient care through medical tasks
  2. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  3. Provide health counseling to patients
  4. Oversee administrative functions
  5. Engage in hospital committees
  6. Maintain records and submit reports
  7. Develop and monitor budgets and quality improvement initiatives
  8. Supervise the student intern program
  9. Respond to emergency situations
  10. Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a current Texas license as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant, along with Basic Life Support certification. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification is highly regarded.

Educational Requirements: A Master's degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner or a Master's degree in Nursing with completion of a post-master's Nurse Practitioner Certification Program, or a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant is required.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of four years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is necessary.

Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to exert force to move objects as needed.

Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside and work in the State of Texas.
