Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our medical team at International SOS Government Medical Services. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing patient administration, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications in various medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate care to patients.
  • Assessment and Treatment: Assess the nature of injuries or illnesses to determine appropriate medical procedures and administer first aid treatment or life support care as needed.
  • Transportation and Communication: Safely transport patients in an ambulance and communicate effectively with medical personnel at emergency facilities to provide critical information about the patient's condition.
  • Medical Administration: Assist with patient administration tasks, including monitoring vital signs and administering post-operative and other medications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain medical vehicles, equipment, and communication devices in proper working order.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Certification: Must be U.S. state-licensed, with National Registry certification desirable.
  • Skills and Experience: Proficiency in performing IV, venous blood draw, intraosseous (IO) procedures, intubation, medication administration, and 12-lead EKG interpretation and treatment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods, capable of bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
