Position: Head of Brand Marketing Strategy
Employment Type: Full-time/Perm/Hybrid (Collaborate with the team 1-2 times weekly).
Location: Remote/Various Locations
Compensation (Range): $140 - $150K
Overview:
In the role of Head of Brand Marketing Strategy, you will be responsible for crafting and executing brand initiatives that effectively establish the organization as a market leader. Your marketing strategies will foster significant emotional connections with target customer profiles and stimulate measurable demand aligned with the company's objectives. You will oversee content creation, influencer collaborations, and brand alliances to ensure cohesive and impactful brand narratives across all customer and partner interactions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Content Marketing (including Writing), Events, Brand Strategy, and Leadership.
- A creative and innovative mindset.
- 7+ years of experience in brand marketing.
- Willingness to travel (including potential international trips).
- Experience in marketing across diverse international markets.
- Consulting and SaaS marketing experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Hubspot and modern website CMS, as well as project management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Advocate for our brand identity and empower cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, customer success) to authentically convey our brand narrative.
- Ensure brand identity is accurately represented across all customer and partner interactions.
- Support your team's success and foster their professional growth.
- Direct content marketing strategy and guide the Content Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with overarching brand objectives.
- Utilize analytics and key performance indicators to assess brand effectiveness in the marketplace.
- Generate and disseminate regular reports on brand performance.
- Provide actionable insights to enhance overall marketing strategy and execution.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to continuously refine brand marketing efforts.
- Lead content, influencer collaborations, and brand partnerships to ensure consistent and impactful brand storytelling across all customer and partner interactions.
Brand Partnerships
- Develop highly effective brand partnerships that enhance reach and awareness within target industries.
- Establish and nurture influencer relationships that resonate with brand values and effectively amplify the brand narrative.
- Build mutually beneficial connections with industry organizations and other stakeholders.
Brand Positioning and Storytelling:
- Formulate and deliver brand positioning that effectively situates the brand within the competitive landscape, aligning with customer needs and values, and fostering meaningful emotional connections with both new and existing audiences.
- Remain attuned to relevant customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Leverage these insights to refine brand strategy and support the execution of effective brand marketing campaigns that drive demand growth.
- Shape the brand's tone of voice, value proposition, and key messaging.
- Oversee organic social media presence and content calendar.
Marketing and Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and optimize brand marketing campaigns to enhance awareness, drive traffic, and increase marketing qualified leads (MQLs).
- Own and implement direct audience event strategies.
- Manage our public relations and communications strategy.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize brand partnerships to amplify brand narratives through engaging and measurable marketing campaigns.
