Job Summary

The National Congress of American Indians seeks a visionary Director of Technology to drive digital transformation and lead the organization's technology strategy. This key role will be responsible for executing a tailored technology plan that aligns with the organization's business goals and major partnerships, supporting growth plans and accelerating digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy and Planning
    • Identify and evaluate technology needs and solutions to drive strategic advantage and business impact.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership, business units, customers, and partners to evaluate technology needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide strong leadership and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration and constant learning.
    • Lead and inspire a talented technology team to drive digital transformation.
  • Technology Vendor Management
    • Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating and selecting the most suitable solutions and services.
  • System Development and Implementation
    • Oversee the development and implementation of scalable, resilient, reliable, and secure systems, hardware, software solutions, and infrastructure.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology strategy and leadership, with experience in driving digital innovation and managing technology teams. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. The candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.
