Key Responsibilities
A Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for delivering process development and engineering design expertise for various mining and mineral projects. Key tasks include:
  • Utilizing advanced knowledge and specialized training to develop systems and unit operations in line with contractual obligations and relevant codes.
  • Collaborating with Discipline Leads, Project Managers, and Engineering Managers to meet project requirements.
  • Addressing complex issues through thorough analysis and evaluation of various factors.
  • Constructing and pursuing alternative solutions while exercising sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques.

Essential Functions

Note: The following duties are representative of the responsibilities associated with this position, but are not exhaustive:

Senior Process Engineer IV
  • Conducting intricate design, computations, and evaluations for oil and gas distribution and planning projects.
  • Managing project administration tasks including report writing, information gathering, proposal drafting, and cost tracking.

Senior Process Engineer III
  • Identifying and assessing hazardous materials and potential environmental concerns.
  • Generating reports and visual data representations for project managers.

Senior Process Engineer II
  • Upgrading and maintaining equipment and performance monitoring.
  • Developing project scopes and budgets to ensure adherence to financial constraints.

Senior Process Engineer I
  • Serving as a technical expert in advanced concepts and methodologies.
  • Understanding process hazard lifecycle and functional safety.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements by Level:
  • Senior Process Engineer IV: Bachelor's Degree; PE license; ten years of experience.
  • Senior Process Engineer III: Bachelor's Degree; PE license; twelve years of experience.
  • Senior Process Engineer II: Bachelor's Degree; PE license; fourteen years of experience.
  • Senior Process Engineer I: Bachelor's Degree; PE license; fifteen years of experience.

Skills
  • Proficient critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills across all levels.
