ASM International is seeking a dedicated Senior Process Engineer to enhance the efficiency and performance of our cement manufacturing processes. This role is pivotal in supporting our operations and driving improvements within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and evaluate process conditions to implement enhancements in cement production.
- Conduct field measurements and compile process data for comprehensive analysis.
- Collaborate with the Energy Management Team to identify and execute energy efficiency initiatives.
- Develop and oversee projects aimed at meeting environmental goals and compliance.
- Review and design new equipment and processes to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Work closely with plant personnel and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Assist in the start-up and commissioning of new process systems.
- Manage assigned capital improvement projects while ensuring safety standards are met.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Material Sciences, or Mining Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in cement manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for operational needs.
