Job Description

Puente Hills Ford is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and deliver a minimum of 10 vehicles per month to meet dealership sales targets.
  • Maintain a 95% Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score through excellent customer service and follow-up.
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Attend product and sales training courses to stay up-to-date on new products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a prospect development system to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to dealership policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Offer test drives to all prospects and follow dealership procedure to obtain proper identification.
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction and strive to exceed the group Customer Viewpoint score.
  • Know and understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
  • Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to customers.
  • Ensure that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure they are 100% satisfied with the entire dealership and transaction.
  • Follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, and special requests to ensure all customer expectations are met.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
  • Follow the dealership's sales process at all times.
  • Attend sales meetings and immediately report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
  • Comply with all company policies, including meal and rest period policy, timekeeping, and employee handbook requirements.
  • Complete all required HR training modules and certification courses respective to position.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and sales license, and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, including a high level of personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience required.
  • Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Salary: $60,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year.
  • Benefits: Dental insurance, Employee discount, Health insurance, Vision insurance.
