Role Summary:
As an ECU Integration Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer ECU development processes through effective system integration engineering projects. Your expertise will be essential in driving technical support and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute projects focused on ECU tools-related system integration to improve customer development workflows.
  • Provide expert technical support to clients through various communication channels, including virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Oversee the resolution of critical customer challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of ETAS products and customer applications, particularly in ECU instrumentation and related tools.
  • Facilitate technical communication with customers, delivering presentations and managing project-related inquiries.
  • Contribute to the growth of the ETAS ETK Integration Services team by identifying process improvements and new business opportunities.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and assist fellow engineers in acquiring application knowledge.

Qualifications:

Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
- Proven track record in customer relationship management for over 3 years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools for project management and communication.

Desirable:
- Practical experience with vehicle electronics and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, FlexRay, CCP, XCP, UDS, ASAP2, iLinkRT, MCD3).
- Familiarity with vehicle subsystem development processes.
- Experience with MatLab Simulink and software development/testing/debugging methodologies.
- Knowledge of defect tracking systems such as Team Foundation Server or Jira.
- Understanding of OEM embedded software calibration processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in delivering training and creating educational materials.
- Familiarity with ETAS hardware and software solutions.
