Richmond, Virginia, United States Grafton Integrated Health Network Full time

An Educational Support Specialist at Grafton Integrated Health Network collaborates closely with educators, administrative staff, therapists, and various specialists within a transdisciplinary team. Each member's input is vital as we strive to support children and their families in reclaiming their lives.

In this role, you will open doors to opportunities that children may not have previously considered.

Working at Grafton is not just a job; it is a transformative experience that impacts your personal growth.

While you will document your shifts, this will be done using an advanced electronic health record system. You will encounter challenging behaviors, but with the Ukeru™ approach, a nationally recognized best practice, you will learn to manage situations with a trauma-informed perspective, preventing crises before they escalate. Your engagement with the children will be meaningful, and on good days, you will find joy in play. Though not every day will be easy, you will contribute positively every day, guided by experienced professionals who offer invaluable insights.

We are committed to your professional development. Many of our leaders began their careers in direct support roles. We offer tuition reimbursement and are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which may qualify you for loan forgiveness. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and a supportive team environment.

Under general supervision, the Educational Support Specialist participates in the direct care and implementation of treatment plans for clients, as directed by physicians and treatment teams.
