Business Development Director Opportunity

HireNetworks is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to join our team in Boston, MA. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our client base in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure new projects to drive company revenue
  • Help clients meet their goals and achieve sales objectives in the Boston, MA region
  • Network with clients and prospects to identify growth opportunities
  • Leverage lead generation tools to build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Draft proposals and solutions for projects
  • Monitor client relationships to identify growth opportunities
  • Attend events and lead campaigns to generate project opportunities
  • Promote company brand at tradeshows and conferences
  • Maintain CRM with up-to-date lead and opportunity data
  • Assist in evaluating potential partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field or experience in sales, business development, marketing, or communications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, or Medical Device sectors is preferred
  • CRM experience (Salesforce) preferred
  • Excellent project management and consultative sales skills
  • Ability to build partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL up to 30% internationally and domestically
