Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Retail Operations Leader to effectively manage a team of Store Managers and ensure optimal retail performance. This role encompasses driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and overseeing the financial management of our retail cannabis stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of retail performance, ensuring efficient operations and maximum profitability.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all store locations.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities by evaluating product performance and customer insights.
  • Manage product procurement and pricing strategies for each location.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience by staying attuned to customer needs and preparing teams accordingly.
  • Maintain a visible presence in stores and support in-store events.
  • Generate and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to strategize and assess new retail location openings.
  • Develop initial operating budgets in partnership with Store Managers and the Finance Department.
  • Establish staffing requirements for new stores and collaborate with Human Resources for hiring plans.
  • Ensure successful implementation of POS systems in new locations, including staff training.
  • Be actively involved in store setups and openings.
  • Work with product and marketing teams to plan product distribution, merchandising, and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to monitor inventory and optimize store operations.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures across all retail locations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with extensive experience managing multiple retail locations.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and store launches.
  • Experience in establishing and tracking KPIs and metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive improvements across managed areas.
  • Strong relationship-building skills in a dynamic industry environment.
  • Passion for the cannabis sector and adaptability in a high-growth setting.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned locations as required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
  • Ability to build and lead a high-performing retail team.
  • Commitment to quality and performance standards.
