Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team at Travelers Insurance. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with external partners to market and sell Travelers products.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative marketing and sales skills.
  • Develop and execute agency sales plans and partner with the Managing Director to develop region/group sales plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four to six years of relevant underwriting experience with experience in construction loss sensitive.
  • Deep knowledge of construction loss sensitive products, the regulatory environment, and the local insurance market.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to proactively identify underwriting, marketing, or financial challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate in difficult situations.
