Position Summary:
The Mitochondrial Medicine Frontier Program (MMFP) at MetaSense Inc. is at the forefront of clinical care and research for mitochondrial diseases. We are seeking a Program Manager Specialist to oversee the administrative and operational aspects of our research initiatives. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of sponsored projects, grant management, and clinical trial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and submission of research proposals, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators to develop comprehensive budgets for research projects.
- Conduct regular meetings with faculty and research teams to review financial accounts and project budgets.
- Provide updates on personnel cost allocations and payroll adjustments.
- Work closely with the Sponsored Program Office and Clinical Trial Financial Management team to facilitate grant and clinical trial administration.
- Assist in the preparation of scientific presentations, progress reports, and grant applications.
- Act as the primary liaison between research teams and administrative staff to support project needs.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Develop and enhance program metrics, tools, and reporting systems.
- Represent the MMFP in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update necessary proposal documents and ensure timely tracking of submissions.

Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in data management and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with accounting and finance principles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective conflict resolution and presentation skills.
- Capable of leading teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A Master's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of program management experience is required.
- Experience in a healthcare-related environment is essential.
- A preference for candidates with five or more years of program management experience.
