Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Mitochondrial Medicine Frontier Program (MMFP) at MetaSense Inc. is at the forefront of clinical care and research dedicated to mitochondrial diseases. We are looking for a Program Manager Specialist to oversee the administration of research and clinical projects, ensuring effective execution of sponsored activities, grant oversight, and clinical trial management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain eSPA records to notify relevant offices of proposal submissions.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators to prepare budgets for research studies and proposals.
- Conduct regular meetings with faculty and investigators to review financial accounts and budgets related to research and clinical trials.
- Provide updates on personnel cost allocations and payroll adjustments.
- Work alongside various administrative teams to facilitate grant and clinical trial management.
- Assist in the preparation of grants, scientific presentations, and progress reports as necessary.
- Act as the primary liaison between research teams and other departments to fulfill project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the development and enhancement of program metrics, tools, and reporting systems.
- Represent the program in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update essential proposal documents, including Biosketch and Other Support.
- Monitor proposal submissions involving MMFP Investigators as Co-Investigators.
- Stay informed on deadlines and notifications related to award management systems.
- Apply knowledge of NIH SF424 guidelines and relevant federal regulations to research projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in pre-award and post-award processes.

Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced understanding of process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with data management and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Effective time management and conflict resolution skills.
- Solid leadership and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and work independently.

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of program management experience required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment required.
- Five or more years of program management experience preferred.
