Overview:

Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), located in the vibrant University City area of West Philadelphia, seeks a qualified Physician Hospitalist to elevate the standards of patient care, reinforcing PPMC's leadership in the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and assessments, diagnosing and treating a range of illnesses and injuries affecting internal organ systems; overseeing patient management and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation; performing essential critical care interventions; prescribing medications and advising on appropriate dietary and exercise regimens; and ensuring effective, timely communication with referring physicians, patients, and their families.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO or equivalent foreign degree
  • Completion of a 3-year ACGME/AOA-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • Board certified/eligible and possession of a Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility

Work Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including nights and weekends.
