Job Overview

The Contents Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the contents team under the guidance of the Fire/Contents Restoration Manager. This position involves directing the team in the careful packing and cleaning of items affected by water, mold, fire, and smoke. The supervisor also provides hands-on assistance when necessary, ensuring exceptional customer service and compassion for homeowners during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Encircle, enabling the preparation and delivery of reports to clients.
  • Understand the operation of all Contents vehicles and their functionalities.
  • Hold forklift certifications, facilitating the movement of crates safely.
  • Maintain the Crate Map and update ESD APS in response to changes in crate quantities per job.
  • Conduct thorough inventory checks of consumables and report findings to the Manager.
  • Perform quality inspections on cleaning tasks across all assignments.
  • Provide daily updates to the Manager regarding job status and any arising issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards by all technicians on every job.
  • Educate customers on the High Value worksheet and guide them in its completion.
  • Train new employees in RMS, Encircle, and T Sheets protocols.
  • Ensure all contents are labeled accurately in English.
  • Communicate with the Manager regarding the need for specialty cleaning practices or subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of damaged content repair processes.
  • Accurately identify and categorize contents based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial site inspections in the absence of the Manager.
  • Assist the Manager with on-site inspections to monitor job progress.
  • Engage with clients to address basic inquiries about their projects.
  • Ensure the crew remains focused and adheres to scheduled breaks for optimal productivity.
  • Input notes and photographs into RMS for record-keeping.
  • Maintain FRST Certification with IICRC.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to work in various conditions, including non-air-conditioned environments.
  • Availability for occasional nights and weekends to respond to emergency situations.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Experience with inventory documentation is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the restoration or construction industry is highly desirable.
