Position Overview

The Contents Restoration Supervisor collaborates closely with the Fire/Contents Restoration Manager to oversee the contents team in the packing and cleaning of items affected by water, mold, fire, and smoke. This role also involves providing essential support to homeowners during their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Encircle for client report generation
  • Knowledgeable about all Contents vehicles and their operations
  • Possess forklift certifications for crate handling
  • Maintain and update the Crate Map and ESD APS as required
  • Conduct inventory checks of consumables and report findings to the Manager
  • Perform quality assessments on cleaning operations
  • Provide daily updates to the Manager and address any arising issues
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols on all assignments
  • Assist clients in completing the High Value worksheet
  • Train new team members in RMS, Encircle, and T Sheets
  • Accurately label all contents in English
  • Recognize when specialized cleaning techniques or subcontractors are needed
  • Possess knowledge in the repair of damaged contents
  • Sort contents accurately according to job specifications
  • Conduct initial site evaluations in the absence of the Manager
  • Support the Manager during on-site assessments
  • Engage with clients and respond to job-related inquiries
  • Ensure the team remains focused and adheres to scheduled breaks for optimal efficiency
  • Input notes and photographs into RMS
  • Hold FRST Certification with IICRC

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum age requirement of 21
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions
  • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends for emergency situations
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications
  • Experience with inventory management documentation
  • Prior experience in the restoration or construction field is preferred
