Restoration Team Coordinator

The Contents Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the contents team under the guidance of the Fire/Contents Restoration Manager. This position is responsible for directing the team in the careful packing and cleaning of items affected by water, mold, fire, and smoke, while also stepping in to assist with these tasks as necessary. Exceptional customer service and compassion towards homeowners during challenging times are essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Encircle, enabling the preparation and delivery of reports to clients.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of all Contents vehicles and their operation.
- Maintain and update the Crate Map and ESD APS in accordance with job changes.
- Hold forklift certifications to facilitate the movement of crates.
- Conduct complete inventories of consumables and report findings to the Manager.
- Perform quality inspections on cleaning tasks across all jobs.
- Provide daily updates to the Manager regarding job status and any arising issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards by all technicians on every job.
- Guide customers in completing the High Value worksheet and clarify any questions they may have.
- Train new employees in RMS, Encircle, and T Sheets.
- Ensure all contents are accurately labeled in English.
- Inventory and communicate with the Manager regarding specialty cleaning needs or subcontractor requirements.
- Possess extensive knowledge of damaged content repair processes.
- Accurately identify and categorize contents based on job disposition.
- Conduct initial site inspections in the absence of the Manager.
- Assist the Manager with on-site inspections to monitor job progress.
- Engage with clients to address simple inquiries regarding their jobs.
- Maintain crew productivity by ensuring adherence to task schedules and break times.
- Input notes and photographs into RMS.
- Hold FRST Certification with IICRC.
Qualifications:
- Proficient communication skills in English.
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Able to work in various conditions, including non-air-conditioned environments.
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends for emergency responses.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Experience with inventory documentation is preferred.
- Prior experience in the restoration or construction industry is highly desirable.
