**Director of Sales and Marketing Technology**

The **Director of Sales and Marketing Technology** at Tanium is responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology strategies that support the company's sales and marketing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and marketing technologies, as well as experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the company's sales and marketing goals
- Lead a team of architects, engineers, and analysts responsible for the evolution and maintenance of Tanium's sales and marketing technologies
- Manage a distributed team across multiple locations and time zones
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company to align and prioritize business needs
- Consult on the implications of new systems, integrations, and changes to existing technologies
- Refine and improve ongoing development, break-fix, and implementation work using Agile methodologies
- Define, mature, and enforce governance processes and technology controls
- Work closely with teams to ensure thorough and effective QA on projects
- Monitor, measure, and report on the health and effectiveness of Tanium's sales and marketing technologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving business results
- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce development, including deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, functionality, integrations, and development processes
- 3+ years of experience with peripheral sales cloud, service cloud, communities, and marketing tools (CPQ, Marketo, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of integration systems (Salesforce, Workato, APIs, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps tools like Gearset, GitHub
- Strong experience working with Agile and Scrum, with the ability to lead the Agile team and manage the backlog
- Good understanding of enterprise business applications (ERP, HRIS) is a plus
- Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with stakeholders and drive consensus
