Position Summary:

The Vice President of Client Relations will manage several mid-sized accounts in the pop culture sector, focusing on creative content development, account oversight, and activation strategies.

This role demands a proactive account leader capable of delivering innovative solutions, creating insightful presentations, resolving client and team challenges, and ensuring the financial viability of the accounts, including team utilization and client procurement management.

Ideal candidates will possess a deep enthusiasm for pop culture and its integration into the consumer brand landscape, along with a robust background in social and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and partner agencies.
  • Collaborate with leaders from specialized practices (Influencer/Talent, Strategy, Branded Content, Entertainment, Sports, and Experiential) to deliver exceptional insights for every client project.
  • Drive innovative strategies for each client while leveraging UEG's unique market position to deliver award-winning programs and high-quality execution.
  • Act as a leading voice in inter-agency meetings, representing UEG and guiding all UEG-led workstreams alongside client-paid, PR, and digital agencies.
  • Oversee the financial management of accounts in collaboration with the Business Manager, including pricing, staffing, statement of work development, and client procurement processes.
  • Engage in ongoing business development and growth initiatives within the portfolio, leveraging key client relationships and strategic pitches.
  • Manage team dynamics, focusing on the professional development of direct reports through career pathing, goal setting, and mentorship.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the industry, showcasing a proven track record as an exemplary account leader capable of maintaining positive client relationships, providing strategic counsel, and effectively resolving client and internal challenges.

In-depth knowledge of the social and digital landscape, including influencer marketing, content development, and management of social media platforms.

Strong understanding of financial and operational performance metrics for sizable accounts to ensure quality deliverables, adherence to deadlines, and budget compliance.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage audiences as a dynamic speaker backed by analytical insights.

A collaborative spirit and mentorship capabilities to inspire agency talent and produce outstanding results for clients.

A genuine passion for pop culture, insights, and emerging trends.

Compensation ranges from $95,000 to $156,000 annually, influenced by various factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. This range is part of a comprehensive compensation package that may include bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
