About the Position

The Operations Manager will join the Core Ventures LLC team and the President in fulfilling the organization's mission by managing, leading, and building the processes needed for the business to grow. To succeed, the candidate must be a well-rounded, utility player on our team. The candidate must be an excellent team leader, able to build and collaborate with all aspects of the business, develop people within the organization, build and design business systems & processes for scale, and work with the President in pushing the business forward.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable
  • Build and improve business systems, working collaboratively with the General Manager and the President
  • Oversee and manage customer and supplier relationships
  • Oversee and improve team usage of the new CRM system
  • Execute the business strategy
  • Lead and execute on all human resources functions, including new hires, payroll, benefits, employee appreciation, and personnel issues
  • Lead compliance and risk management, especially working with the EPA, insurance, NSF, and CDPHE
  • Lead all marketing and advertising efforts for Core Ventures LLC
  • Oversee IT and tech systems for efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with the President to find solutions to new business challenges and opportunities related to growth
  • Other duties as delegated by the President
Qualifications
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Core Ventures LLC
  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • 5-8 years of experience with the core functions of a business, including HR, operations, compliance, and marketing
  • Organizational skills to build and improve systems and processes to achieve results
  • Ability to lead, develop, manage, and hold other leaders accountable for hitting targets
  • Ability to think strategically and grow a small business through operational excellence
  • Highly organized and committed to excellence
  • Motivated by processes and efficiency
