Join Our Team as a Mortgage Servicing Administrative Assistant I

In this position, you will be responsible for various customer service functions, administrative tasks, payment reminders, new loan initiation, and the preparation and distribution of welcome packages for new loans. A solid understanding of the products and applications relevant to our business unit is essential, along with adherence to industry regulations and compliance with federal and state laws. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a range of Mortgage Loan Servicing activities from the initiation of new loans to their eventual payoff and disposition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering courteous and timely customer service and information (both oral and written) to all borrowers or creditors on behalf of the borrower.
  • Facilitating new loan initiation and the preparation and mailing of welcome packages.
  • Managing the filing, scanning, and mailing of various documents.
  • Ensuring proper document retention practices.
  • Processing returned mail efficiently.
  • Conducting customer service calls and related activities.
  • Providing backup support for collection reminder calls.
  • Handling cashiering and payment posting tasks.
  • Preparing and generating reports along with data analysis.
  • Supporting payoff processing activities.
  • Executing lien release functions within established timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative assistant role
- Intermediate proficiency in computer applications
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- The capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality
