Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and complete patient information.
- Patient Registration: Complete the registration process for walk-in patients, verifying and updating demographic and insurance information as needed.
- Insurance Verification: Verify insurance benefits, calculate patient responsibility, and request payment.
- Financial Assistance: Identify patients in need of financial assistance and refer them to our Financial Advocate team.
- Visit Closure: Monitor patient flow, perform visit closure, and provide patients with necessary documents.
- Scheduling: Schedule patient visits using established guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 year of experience in customer service or clerical/office experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPIC electronic medical record, and other relevant software.
