About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Leadership Representative to join our team at Summit Business Group. As a Sales and Leadership Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and mentoring new sales agents to achieve their targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Make daily in-person sales calls to small and medium-sized businesses in your territory, building strong professional relationships and establishing trust and rapport with customers.
  • Training and Mentoring: Dedicate part of your week to training and mentoring new sales agents on the team, helping them develop their skills and achieve their targets.
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, lead by example, and take initiative to drive sales growth.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with customers and sales staff.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interactions with customers and sales staff.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to lead by example and take initiative.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Product Knowledge: Mastery of product knowledge to effectively train and mentor new sales agents.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and sales staff.

Additional Requirements:

  • Licensing: Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing and able to obtain Health & Life producer license - licensing reimbursement offered).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years of professional (post-high school) work experience. Candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion.
