Job Overview:

The Senior Operations Manager role is pivotal in guiding the Services and Supports Operations Team within the Provider Finance Department.

This position entails steering and supervising a team responsible for managing all digital platforms, including the State of Texas Automated Information Reporting System (STAIRS) or its successor, along with providing administrative support and facilitating communication with both internal and external stakeholders regarding public engagements, records requests, and general inquiries pertinent to the Provider Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:
(35%) Directs administrative services for internal stakeholders, encompassing requisition processes, procurement requests, human resources support (such as onboarding, offboarding, asset management), extensive correspondence with external stakeholders, handling records requests, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

(25%) Collaborates with internal Provider Finance Department staff, other departments, and external partners to collect requirements and implement tailored solutions for the State of Texas Automated Information Reporting System (STAIRS) or its successor;

(25%) Formulates and oversees project plans, timelines, and budgets for the Provider Finance Department's website, ensuring compliance with system standards, ADA accessibility mandates, and that the information presented is accurate and user-friendly for the public;

(15%) Cultivates and leads a high-performing team through effective hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiarity with administrative procedures;

Proficient in creating visually appealing materials, particularly websites, public communications, and reports;

Understanding of public information act requirements and processes;

Ability to collaborate effectively with highly technical personnel;

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;

Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
