Position Overview

The Senior Operations Manager for Semiconductor Products will oversee all business operations activities related to the Performance Core product line.

  • Industry Expertise: A background in the semiconductor sector is essential.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and sustain business performance indicators, preparing comprehensive monthly reports on key metrics such as BIBA, Bookings, Channel Inventory, and POS Consumption.
  • Analytics Management: Conduct thorough analyses of the opportunity funnel and design wins.
  • Demand Forecasting: Manage demand forecasting for both new and existing products, including engineering samples.
  • Sampling Coordination: Oversee the sampling process for new product introductions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team on wafer starts and capacity planning.
  • Manufacturing Prioritization: Make informed business decisions regarding manufacturing priorities.
  • Data Evaluation: Analyze data in BIBA and forecasts to adjust manufacturing builds and inventory planning as necessary.
  • Supply Chain Support: Assist in supply escalations from Sales to Operations and Tactical Marketing.
  • Pricing Strategy: Manage pricing strategies and quotations for new product launches and sustaining products.
  • Annual Planning: Provide support for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.
  • Lifecycle Management: Review product lifecycle stages and determine appropriate timing for End of Life (EOL) promotions.
  • Process Improvement: Drive enhancements in business and National Provider Identifier (NPI) processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in operations, marketing, or manufacturing within the semiconductor industry.
  • A Master of Business Administration is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and proactive attitude with a focus on action.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships and driving process improvements.
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and utilize key performance indicators effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing complex supply chains and high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at presenting complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
