Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Publishing Capabilities Trainer to join our team at Insight Global. As a Digital Publishing Capabilities Trainer, you will be responsible for implementing learning and development tactics that create a clear competitive advantage for the business. Your primary focus will be to build and deliver training programs to enable capabilities in key product areas where process or technology changes are in play.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop consistent materials and to lead training sessions that will improve performance and effectiveness.
  • Work to ensure training plans are adequate to equip and empower worldwide tool users.
  • Create a learning atmosphere capable of supporting a variety of learning styles and needs.
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the training program information and provide live training sessions as required.
  • Work with Marketing, Product, and Operational teams to ensure all technical aspects of the training environments are covered.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve basic permissions issues, manage training packets and exercises, and update learning assets and programs in conjunction with the ongoing training needs.
  • Be accountable for training delivery logistics, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources – both for in-person trainings and virtual (Zoom) sessions.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of digital publishing, content/web authoring experience.
  • Professional experience working with CMS (content management systems) or similar digital systems.
  • Experience working in and developing training plans.
  • Ability to translate technical information to non-technical users.
  • High competency with PC, MS Office – Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project.
  • Broad business exposure and direct experience in implementation of business change and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, interpersonal, written, and communicative skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Available to work flexible schedule when needed to accommodate remote training or meetings with global stakeholders.

  • Enterprise retail experience.
