Business Development Manager for Precision Plastics

About the Role:
Sanmina Corporation, a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager for Precision Plastics, you will be responsible for developing relationships with target customers to penetrate their organizations and open doors to new business opportunities in Plastics production and secondary operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy global account strategy in conjunction with Management to achieve business aims and objectives.
- Aggressively attack plastics and value-add opportunities to ensure competitive take-away, market share growth, and prime strategic positioning for future business successes.
- Meet and exceed sales revenues targets set by Management.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business in line with set quotas and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution.
- Own and manage related RFQs and act as prime in ensuring timely response delivery and feed information back into Management in support of developing Business Plans.
- Regularly update sales data system with customer data, new opportunity logs, and call plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years in industrial or components sales experience successfully meeting/exceeding goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of the plastics industry with background in manufacturing and a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain and OEM's manufacturing requirements.
- Technical understanding of plastic component design and manufacturing.
- Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Strong project Management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize actions.
- Ability to present to internal executive teams and convey the status of the business and growth opportunities.
