Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to oversee preconstruction initiatives for a variety of projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in construction, particularly in preconstruction processes. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of managing the planning, coordination, and execution of preconstruction activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all preconstruction functions, including conceptual and detailed estimating, scheduling, logistics, preliminary planning, and design collaboration.
2. Work closely with project stakeholders such as architects, engineers, and clients to define project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
3. Formulate and execute preconstruction strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
4. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and devise mitigation strategies.
5. Lead the development and presentation of preconstruction proposals, ensuring they accurately reflect project scope, timelines, and costs.
6. Collaborate with the project team to establish and refine project budgets and schedules.
7. Review and evaluate project design and construction documents for accuracy and completeness.
8. Provide expert guidance on construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends.
9. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in preconstruction practices.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on preconstruction activities.
3. Proven experience managing preconstruction efforts for large-scale projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry trends.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a talent for motivating a diverse team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with project stakeholders.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
8. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
