Job Overview:

We are in search of a highly driven and seasoned Operations Manager to join our dynamic construction team.

This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about the construction industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to advance their career.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in managing residential construction projects, ensuring quality assurance, and leading high-performing teams.

Focusing on framing, the Operations Manager will oversee the overall direction, completion, and financial performance of construction projects while managing multiple sites and coordinating with foremen.


Key Responsibilities:

As an Operations Manager, your duties will include:

  • Managing all phases of project life cycles and supervising all construction personnel to meet project objectives.
  • Implementing and enforcing the company's project management policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with Foremen to oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to project schedules, making adjustments as needed.
  • Directing and coordinating subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Overseeing the delivery and proper use of materials and equipment at construction sites.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure construction work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Managing project budgets and ensuring operations remain within financial constraints.
  • Addressing any issues or delays that arise during construction.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction Operations Manager or superintendent position.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, OSHA regulations, and building codes.
  • Demonstrated experience in framing and other specialized construction techniques.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a proven ability to guide high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, focusing on innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
