Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roll Forming Equipment Specialist to become a vital part of our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will take charge of setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting roll forming machinery utilized in our production processes. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing machinery, precision in machine calibration, and a dedication to upholding exceptional production quality standards. Compensation is based on experience, with a starting bonus of $400, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement. Additional bonuses are available throughout the year.

Key Duties:

  • Machine Configuration: Adjust roll forming machines in accordance with production requirements, including the calibration of rollers, guides, and cutting instruments for peak efficiency.
  • Machine Operation: Efficiently operate roll forming machines to manufacture metal profiles and components that meet design specifications, ensuring uniformity and precision.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on roll forming machinery to avert unexpected downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in roll forming machines, making necessary modifications or repairs to reduce production interruptions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of machine setups, adjustments, maintenance tasks, and repairs conducted.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification or an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in operating and troubleshooting roll forming machinery, with a strong grasp of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Mechanical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make precise adjustments to machinery.
