Senior Commercial Relationship Manager

Overview:
This role entails overseeing, servicing, and nurturing commercial or business banking connections within a designated region. It supports the continuous financial and credit quality evaluation requirements of a well-established portfolio through defined servicing and sales methodologies. Recognizes client requirements and proposes suitable product or service solutions, making referrals to banking associates as necessary.
Fosters robust relationships with clients in alignment with the Bank's fundamental values, delivering value for the client while optimizing sales revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Oversight: Evaluates portfolio for completeness of documentation, precision of credit assessments, and potential risks. Manages line renewals and new requests in accordance with loan approval servicing protocols. Executes additional tasks related to the servicing and oversight of the assigned portfolio.
- Client Engagement: Sustains continuous communication and interaction with assigned commercial and business loan clients. Strengthens relationships and assesses client satisfaction. Conducts an annual needs assessment to uncover further banking or financial requirements.
- Sales Initiatives: Promotes Bank loans and deposits utilizing various sales strategies. Emphasizes relationship-driven sales, collaborating closely with clients to identify and fulfill their financial needs. Cultivates referrals from existing clients and professional networks.
- Collections Management: Tracks loans for payment status. Collaborates with clients who are behind on payments to recover overdue amounts.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree along with 8 years of experience in Credit Analysis and Credit Underwriting OR a High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of experience in Credit Analysis and Credit Underwriting.
Skill(s): Proficient in credit analysis, underwriting, and servicing business and commercial loans. First Citizens benefits programs are tailored to support our associates at various life stages.
