Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the educational setting.
  • Document Student Progress: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team meetings as needed.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Clinical Competence: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State Licensure: Valid Minnesota state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minnesota Department of Education Certification: Certification from the Minnesota Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
