Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student communication and learning.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular meetings with school administrators and staff to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into practice.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with students with diverse communication needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with complex communication needs, such as autism or traumatic brain injury.
  • Knowledge of and experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
