Position Summary

This role involves delivering licensed nursing services to our residents, adhering to the standards set forth by Senior Lifestyle Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal and State regulations, as well as Senior Lifestyle Corporation policies.
  • Conduct admissions for new residents, including all necessary assessments and documentation.
  • Develop and implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
  • Assist in clinical system tracking, such as monitoring wounds or infection control, under the guidance of the director.
  • Provide health-related consultations within the community.
  • Inform physicians and family members of any changes in residents' health, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments and staff members.
  • Facilitate educational meetings for residents and staff.
  • Understand and fulfill your role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
  • Ensure confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • Handle discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as required.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.

Field of Study: General nursing.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in senior care or a related field.

Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the practicing state and CPR Certification.

Language Proficiency: Adequate proficiency in English to perform job duties and communicate effectively in emergency situations.

Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are required.

Skills and Attributes

Ability to collaborate as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently. A high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations in a calm and professional manner is essential.
