Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Treat all patients and customers with politeness, promptness, and helpfulness, in line with our organization's values and standards.
  • Active Participation in Team Meetings: Engage in regular huddles and team meetings to improve workflows and contribute to improving patient population outcomes.
  • Efficient Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule, reschedule, confirm, acknowledge, and cancel patient appointments, including surgical and ancillary services.
  • Insurance Verification and Coordination: Utilize insurance verification systems and take appropriate action based on eligibility responses.
  • Financial Transactions and Reconciliation: Collect co-pays/patient due balances, perform end-of-day reconciliation of payments, appointments, and validation.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Investigate and resolve insurance denials, and proactively identify and report potential or actual patient safety issues.
  • Electronic Health Record Management: Create, maintain, and pull patient charts, either physically or electronically, as outlined by the practice.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Act as a backup for coworkers as needed, and demonstrate cooperative behavior, interacting positively and effectively with others to promote a team environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)
