About this role:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Analytics Consultant to join the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, specifically within the Remediation Analytics Team. This role will concentrate on advanced analytical methodologies to facilitate remediation efforts aligned with the objectives of CEDA's Data Analytics and Quality Control (DAQC) group. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leveraging database expertise and business processes to conduct sophisticated data analyses.
  • Identifying customer populations requiring remediation and calculating necessary refunds, account adjustments, or other resolutions.
  • Supporting various lines of business, including Home Lending, Credit Cards, Auto, Deposit/Banking, Data Operations, and Personal Loans and Lines in their remediation efforts.
The individual in this position will engage in numerous activities associated with the remediation control process, including consulting with business leaders, delivering data-driven insights, and performing analytical validations to support a wide range of remediation initiatives. A strong understanding of requirements and quality validation is crucial for driving proactive oversight.

In this role, you will:
  • Guide senior leadership in the development and influence of statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization tailored to complex business and technical requirements.
  • Interpret regulatory-defined stress test scenarios into model parameters and evaluate the outcomes of these tests.
  • Lead the identification and creation of innovative research concepts and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and policies across all managed projects.
  • Assist leadership in formulating quarterly and annual plans while forecasting future market research needs for supported business partners.
  • Provide strategic direction and expertise to leadership on implementing significant business solutions that align with enterprise goals.
  • Collaborate with peers and managers across the enterprise, serving as an expert advisor to the leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or a combination of relevant work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL and SAS.
  • 2+ years of experience with Teradata.
  • Extensive knowledge of research and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience in Customer Remediation, Audit Validations, Applied Statistics, Database Management, Automation, or Regression Testing.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques used in statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) processes and performance measurement.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with analytic functions across the organization.
  • Capacity to make timely and independent decisions in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and achieving goals under pressure.
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment across all organizational levels, emphasizing flexibility and collaboration.
  • Strong independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on-site as per Wells Fargo's operational model.
