About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Advisor within the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, focusing on the Remediation Analytics Team. This role is dedicated to leveraging advanced analytics to facilitate remediation efforts in alignment with the requirements of CEDA's Data Analytics and Quality Control (DAQC) group. Key responsibilities include:
  • Employing database expertise and business acumen to conduct sophisticated data analyses.
  • Identifying customer populations needing remediation and calculating necessary refunds or adjustments.
  • Collaborating with various lines of business, including Home Lending, Credit Cards, Auto, and Banking, to support remediation initiatives.
This position involves engaging in multiple activities tied to the remediation control process, including consulting with senior leaders, delivering data-driven insights, and conducting analytical validations to support diverse remediation efforts. Proficiency in understanding requirements and ensuring quality validation is crucial for proactive oversight.

In this role, you will:
  • Guide senior leadership in the development of statistical models, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualizations to meet complex business needs.
  • Translate regulatory stress test scenarios into model parameters and assess the results.
  • Lead the identification and formulation of innovative research concepts and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and policies across all managed projects.
  • Assist in formulating quarterly and annual plans while forecasting market research needs for supported business partners.
  • Provide strategic direction and expertise on implementing significant business solutions that align with enterprise goals.
  • Collaborate with peers and leaders across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or a combination of relevant experience, training, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL and SAS.
  • 2+ years of experience with Teradata.
  • In-depth knowledge of research and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience in Customer Remediation, Audit Validations, Applied Statistics, and Database Automation.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques used in statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) processes and Quality Control review experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Capacity to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on-site as per Wells Fargo's operational model.
