This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of precise and timely GEOINT services to government and allied agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor Mid-level and Junior systems engineers in executing requirements analysis, solution development, scheduling, and system reliability across multiple intelligence systems.
- Facilitate the planning and traceability of user requirements, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and identifying opportunities for system automation and improvement.
- Guide the development of solution designs through in-depth analysis of requirements and emerging technologies.
- Assist in translating mission objectives and customer needs into actionable systems and capability requirements.
- Support the allocation of requirements to system architecture components and the execution of relevant programs.
- Engage in systems integration activities to ensure cohesive operation across platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses including Alternatives Analysis, Course of Action evaluations, and Engineering Assessments.
- Contribute to strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management initiatives.
- Integrate various systems, services, and processes within Major Systems Acquisitions, collaborating across organizational boundaries.
Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- Possession of an active TS/SCI Clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science, or equivalent senior-level experience.
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in government or industry, particularly in the DoD/IC Acquisition Process and system engineering of complex systems.
- In-depth understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
Preferred:
- A Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
- INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
- Experience in geospatial intelligence.
- Professional engineering licensure.
- Active participation in relevant professional organizations.
- Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, and geographic information systems.
- Awareness of current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
