About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant within the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, focusing on the Remediation Analytics Team. This role will emphasize advanced analytical techniques to facilitate remediations aligned with the requirements of CEDA's Data Analytics and Quality Control (DAQC) group. Responsibilities include:
  • Leveraging database expertise and business processes to conduct sophisticated data analyses.
  • Identifying customer populations requiring remediation and calculating necessary refunds, account adjustments, or other resolutions.
  • Collaborating with various lines of business, including Home Lending, Credit Cards, Auto, Deposit/Banking, Data Operations, and Personal Loans, on remediation efforts.
The individual in this position will engage in multiple activities related to the remediation control process, which involves consulting with business leaders, delivering data-driven insights, and conducting analytical validations to support a range of remediation initiatives. Proficiency in understanding and executing requirement and quality validations is crucial for driving proactive oversight.

In this role, you will:
  • Guide senior leadership in developing statistical models, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualizations for complex business needs.
  • Interpret regulatory stress test scenarios into model parameters and evaluate the outcomes of these tests.
  • Lead the identification and creation of innovative research concepts and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and policies across all managed projects.
  • Assist in formulating quarterly and annual plans while forecasting future market research needs for supported business partners.
  • Provide strategic direction and expertise to leadership on implementing impactful business solutions that align with enterprise objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers and managers across the organization, serving as an expert advisor to the leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL and SAS.
  • 2+ years of experience with Teradata.
  • In-depth knowledge of research and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience in Customer Remediation, Audit Validations, Applied Statistics, Database Management, Automation, or Regression Testing.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques used in statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and performance metrics, along with Quality Control review experience.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Capacity to make independent judgments in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and achieving objectives under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
