Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take on a distinctive role that combines assisting the property owner with managing short-term rental operations. This position involves overseeing all facets of the designated residential rental properties while providing administrative support to the owner. Responsibilities may include organizing office tasks, participating in meetings, and managing financial entries. A successful candidate will focus on achieving high occupancy rates, enhancing profitability, and ensuring satisfaction for both property owners and guests. Key Responsibilities

  • Promote vacation and short-term rental listings
  • Conduct property viewings for potential tenants and explain available amenities
  • Ensure office and operational processes are organized
  • Handle payment transactions and issue receipts
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns through designated communication channels
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the local market and adjust pricing accordingly
  • Input financial data into accounting software accurately
  • Regularly inspect properties and coordinate necessary maintenance
  • Provide administrative assistance and complete additional tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in property management
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills and work ethic
  • Familiarity with local events and market trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities
  • Experience with property management software is advantageous

Office hours will require 20-24 hours per week, with flexibility based on performance and needs. Regular office presence is expected on specific weekdays, while hosting duties will be scheduled as necessary. This is a salaried position, and the ability to respond to communications outside of regular hours is essential, as many rental activities occur during weekends. A structured number of office hours will be established, with performance-based bonuses available.
