The ideal candidate will harness business insights and consumer demands to create compelling content that enhances brand visibility, fosters trust, generates leads, and drives conversions while remaining engaging and relevant to our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development and Oversight

  • Collaborate with designers, marketing professionals, sales teams, and industry specialists to produce high-quality content across diverse formats (written, video, podcast).
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive content pipeline in partnership with marketing and digital teams.
  • Identify opportunities for content repurposing and syndication to maximize reach across various marketing channels.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in content marketing, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously refine ASCM's content strategy.

Podcast and Video Management

  • Oversee all facets of the ASCM podcast, including guest coordination, recording, editing, and promotional activities.
  • Supervise video content creation, working closely with videographers on conceptualization, scripting, and post-production processes.

Social Media and Community Interaction:

  • Collaborate with the social media manager to create engaging text, imagery, and video content tailored for ASCM's social media platforms.
  • Foster relationships with relevant supply chain industry subject matter experts for contributions to blogs, webinars, podcasts, and videos.

Performance Analysis and Strategy Optimization:

  • Regularly assess and analyze content performance across all channels.
  • Work alongside the marketing analytics manager to generate reports and derive insights for strategic enhancements.

Content Calendar Coordination:

  • Develop and manage an annual marketing content calendar to ensure seamless execution of strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in crafting and executing successful content strategies across various digital platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Knowledge:

  • Fundamental digital media and marketing principles: SEO, conversion funnels, audience segmentation.
  • Content formats and creation methodologies: Blogs, e-books, white papers, infographics, videos, podcasts, etc.
  • Strategies for audience development and thought leadership.

Skills:

  • Content Creation: Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. Proficient in effective research, interviewing sources, and visualizing content across multiple formats.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to see the broader picture, translate business objectives into content strategies, and adapt as necessary.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Management: Effectively engages with internal teams, external partners, and subject matter experts.
  • Digital Acumen: Knowledgeable about channel-specific content distribution strategies and current on emerging media trends and technologies.
