Role Summary:
We are on the lookout for a skilled Content and Email Marketing Specialist to join our vibrant marketing team. This role is essential for enriching our online presence and enhancing our email outreach through captivating blog entries, informative resources, and persuasive marketing content. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a talent for creating digital content that resonates with audiences, boosts member engagement, and strengthens brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on relevant industry topics using various online resources, interviews, and studies to create well-informed content.
- Craft clear and persuasive marketing copy to effectively promote our offerings.
- Review and refine digital content, press releases, and emails prior to publication to ensure precision and clarity.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to enhance articles with suitable visuals.
- Implement basic keyword research and apply SEO best practices to increase website traffic.
- Assist in promoting content across social media platforms and optimize the effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Identify content gaps based on member feedback and lead new content projects.
- Ensure consistency in content across all platforms, including style, fonts, images, and tone.
- Regularly refresh website content to align with the evolving needs of the organization.
- Create versatile copy for various stages of the marketing funnel, including social media, emails, web pages, blogs, videos, and more.
- Participate in content strategy discussions and brainstorming sessions with the marketing team to generate innovative ideas.
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics to enhance content and understand audience engagement.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and member requirements.
- Design and implement strategic email campaigns that effectively onboard, engage, and retain members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience with demonstrated success and increasing responsibilities.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in digital media, digital marketing, social media communications, and email marketing platforms.
- Creative thinker with strong storytelling abilities.
- Proactive learner open to constructive feedback.
- Comfortable conducting interviews and managing communications via digital platforms.
- Knowledgeable in SEO and current digital marketing trends.
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
