At Vera Therapeutics, we are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide strategic support to our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer. This is a unique opportunity to join a late-stage biotechnology company focused on developing treatments for serious immunological diseases.

About the Role

This role offers the chance to utilize your exceptional organizational and communication skills to provide high-level administrative support. You will be responsible for managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, and arranging high-profile events and meetings. As the gatekeeper, you will screen and prioritize communications and manage access to senior leadership.

In this dynamic environment, you will effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and coordination. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and submitting expense reports, managing purchase requisitions, and analyzing internal processes to suggest improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertly manage and prioritize senior leadership's calendars, focusing on productivity, urgency, and stakeholder needs.
  • Arrange comprehensive travel plans and coordinate high-profile events and meetings.
  • Act as a key point of contact, screening and prioritizing communications and managing access to senior leadership.
  • Effectively communicate and partner with various stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and manage purchase requisitions according to company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and monitor internal processes to suggest improvements.
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned EA with 8+ years of experience, preferably supporting C-Level Executives. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, as is biotech experience. You should be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Zoom, and Slack. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

What We Offer

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $115,000 - $142,000, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. You will also be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity.
