We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range begins at $320,000, plus an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior or Executive Director, Medical Affairs to join our team. Reporting to the SVP of Medical Affairs, you will collaborate with all members of the medical affairs team and work cross-functionally with the commercial team to prepare for the US launch of our lead product candidate, atacicept.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of the cross-functional product and disease strategy.
  • Provide strategic direction, medical monitor responsibility, and operational oversight on evidence generation activities under the Medical Affairs function.
  • Capture insights on the assigned therapy area systematically, both internal and external, and translate these insights into actionable activities.

  • Build partnerships with the medical community and support US Market Access strategy and development of a health care economic value story for atacicept.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in other functional areas, such as Clinical Research, Sales and Marketing, Market Access, and PVE.
Requirements
  • Advanced clinical and/or scientific knowledge in nephrology with an established network of relationships among the global nephrology community.
  • MD or DO with certification in nephrology.
  • 3 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Ability to view Medical Affairs from both a medical and business perspective and engage heavily with cross-functional teams.
  • Significant leadership experience in the matrix is required.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, strong organizational abilities, high credibility, and significant leadership potential.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, small, growth company environment.
