Position Overview:
We are in search of a Human Resources Operations Specialist.

The Human Resources Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in leveraging business and human resources expertise to deliver comprehensive HR support and guidance.

This position involves managing unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising and assisting field management with labor relations and HR practices while fostering a positive and professional rapport with employees, peers, and management.
  • Acting as a liaison between management and staff by addressing inquiries and resolving workplace issues.
  • Providing current and prospective employees with insights regarding policies, job responsibilities, working conditions, and compensation.
  • Supporting the HR department in executing initiatives aimed at enhancing employee relations.
  • Developing or overseeing specialized HR projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and procedures, while rectifying any discrepancies.
  • Offering guidance to employees in navigating complex issues and resolving escalated grievances.
  • Maintaining an HR system that fulfills the information needs of top management.
  • Keeping accurate personnel records, including hires, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations, terminations, and employee statistics.
  • Identifying opportunities for policy and procedure enhancements.
  • Training and supporting HR team members.
  • Recommending innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve departmental efficiency and service delivery.
  • Managing unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and employee relations.
  • Conducting various audits within HRIS and ATS.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to remain stationary, move freely within the office, and operate mechanical controls such as a keyboard.


Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree and/or 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong writing skills for effective communication tailored to the audience.
  • Proficient reading comprehension for understanding work-related documents.
  • Social perceptiveness to recognize and interpret others' reactions.
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance for improvement.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on assisting others.
  • Quality control analysis skills for evaluating products, services, or processes.
